Engineering on the Edge: Must-Have Computing Tips for Machine Builders

A Machine Design hosted on-demand webinar featuring Stratus Edge Computing experts.

Edge Computing has gained wide adoption in the VAR/OEM and Machine Builder community in recent years. It is a model in which computing takes place at the Edge – near the physical location where data is being collected and analyzed – rather than on a centralized server or in the cloud. This webinar uses customer case studies to discuss key tips on how machine and equipment manufacturers should leverage Edge Computing to meet their unique needs as well as their customers’ requirements using technology based on digitalization, IIoT, and Digital Transformation.

You will learn how to:

  • Simplify and Integrate: Use Edge Computing platforms to consolidate control and monitoring with your other critical applications into a single platform.
  • Protect and Secure: Leverage industrial grade platforms bundled with security, architected with inherent redundancy to protect your intellectual property, improve OEE, extend the lives of your machines, and protect it from unplanned downtime.
  • Scale and Extend: Create machines that scale functionality over time without investing on additional infrastructure and be able to seamlessly integrate with your customers existing enterprise and cloud solutions.
  • Increase Profit: Take advantage of your Edge Computing Platform and its accompanying support services to increase your revenue streams.
